silhouette D. Ryva Paker is a Hostess, DJ, Creative Strategist, and an Audio Visual Technical Extraordinaire with over 20 years of experience in frontline event production. She has been blessed to grace the stages of the World Live Café, The Arts Garage, the Black Women’s Arts Festival, Elena’s Soul, Grey Lounge, the EMERGE Conference 2009 in Philadelphia, Manhattan’s “Fat Baby” nightclub in Manhattan, NYC, The McKenna Museum, Eiffel Society, Legends Cafe, and many private affairs in New Orleans, Philadelphia, New York and more. Many know Ryva as DJ eye-V. Though she went on a hiatus, she returned to the scene two years ago. Since spinning again she has made many mixes in response to demand from long term and new fans. Her latest mixes include soul, classic and underground hip-hop, house, world-beat, lounge, and drum & bass. In addition to handling every aspect of audio and visual technical support for an array of events ranging from festivals to conferences, Ryva has hosted incredible live music productions and dance parties most notably the Black Lily Productions and Soul Traveler Sundays. She has also worked in various capacities from performance to production to publishing which has led to an impressive client and work history.
